Maruf Ahmed obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from University of Dhaka in 2019. He joined Community of Physics in 2018 as the Director of Public Affairs, and subsequently was appointed as the Associate Director of Research in 2020. Since 2020, he has been an active member of the Gravitational Physics Group at Community of Physics.
Maruf Ahmed's primary research interest encompasses aspects of Gravitational Physics such as gravitational radiation, dynamical evolution of binary systems, cylindrically symmetric spacetime. However, he is also working in classical physics and density functional theory.
